tried to think about not kicking back when running. was most effective when ave ran right behind me and told me not to kick her. ha.
drills we did
-jumping around like dolphins
-back against the wall heel rises
-a-skips
4X1 min at 96 cadence

3X135,165,185,205,225 fail.
did 225 again but didnt get depth on all of them. stuuupid.

advanced class
muscle up work. started w light band, then mini. then the real rings
failed a few times. then started to get them. first three were super low and arm by arm. then my right arm work up a bit and they got a little better. maybe did 8-10 total.

snatch work off the blocks.
2X63,78,93,103,113,118,123 fail, 123
seem to be jumping forward some not sure why. started fixing it at around 118. need to learn how to catch it better so i stop failing there.

back squat 10 min emom 1X215.

skipped the C&J, front squats AND metcon due to time. sigh.

30 man makers (start in pushup position w dumbells. do a 1 arm row, do a pushup, do a row with the other arm, do a pushup, jump up do a squat cluster w dumbells)
8:05. the pushups got hard real quick

2 min row for calories (42) (damper was on 7)
1 min rest
4 min amrap (2 rounds + 10 pushups)
15 hand release push ups
10 toes to bars
1 min rest
4 min amrap (2 rounds + 12 jump squats)
15 jump squats w 45 pounds
10 pullups
1 min rest
2 min row for calories(34)

jumps squats with a bar are hard and i was slow. toes to bars kip went away again. pullups were ok, but after first set of 5 i did them in 2’s even on second round.

meh. this has got to come down. also i dropped the bar way too many times on the deadlift. tried to do sets of three for HSPU’s. that worked ok till i got to the roudn of 15 and started collapsing, sometimes even before my first one!. last round of 9 i was down to singles.

2X35,40,44,47,50. these all felt pretty good. and i should know by now that is only a sign of terrible things to come

failed 57 twice beforei got it
failed 59 twice. went back to 52
did 52 once, then again to focus on pulling back on the bar. failed. came back a third time and made it. have to figure out how to pull back on the bar and then actually catch it.

tried 80 twice, failed the jerk both times
clean 1X84 failed to even rack it.
84 failed to stand up with it
84 finally and it felt ok. wanted to go home, jim said put 87 on the bar and try a little harder.
did 87 twice. which was good, i havent done that in a lil bit. it was also very ahrd to stand up with so i need to keep getting stronger there.
ended with a 5 min EMOM at 80. this was indeed fun like jim said. and some of them actually felt pretty ok.

ugh. on the plus side i kept my SPM down at 22 the whole time.except the last 150m of the last two rows bc then i realized i was going tooooo slow and wanted to make up for it.
also i think my swing changes when i try to do max pullups. i think its bigger. im not sure, but i need to figure out how to get more then 12 in a row which i feel like i should be able to do, and i think i have done before

tried some strict. still no good. it feels like i almost have more liftoff then before but no actual liftoff so who knows. then worked with the bands
fat band + liltte band. first to the ground, then to 25 plates, then 45 plates, then 45+25 - and failed here. tried with fat band + skinny band here too. still failed. tried strict again. still failed. erin says not to give up pushing so soon. i dont feel like im giving up but i guess i am

10 pistols alternating legs. i used a 10lb counter balance for my left leg. and still failed about 50% of them. sigh.right leg was ok but a lot of hopping around before stabilizing at the top.

the HSPU’s were supposed to be unbroken (and i managed that), adn the DU’s had to be unbroken to count as well. i tripped up on round 2 once
got 2 rounds + 3 DU’s. meh.
