Does anyone have any postive/negative experience or knowledge about 7-keto?
http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/7keto.html

I understand that I'm better of reaching BF goals by diet and exercise alone. I'm making nice progress with my Zone-esque diet but summer is coming faster than my gains and I'm vain. There, I said it.

Thanks for any advice.

John-
the pro-hormones never lived up to the hype. They CAN cascade into both testosterone and estrogen so I'd be wary of them.

Interesting. What I saw implied that 7-keto was non-hormonal, non-androgenic. Not that I have a lot faith in truth in marketing.
Thanks.

Robert is confusing DHEA with 7-keto DHEA. John is right, 7-keto DHEA is metabolically downstream from DHEA and has no androgenic effect.

Also, even DHEA is not a prohomone. Prohomones are synthetic materials that attach to testosterone receptors in the body. That is to say, prohomones function like testosterone and are not substances the body makes or could make naturally. DHEA is not a prohomone because some fraction of it converts to actual testosterone through nornmal body processes and it is a material naturally ocurring in the body.

In any case, John was asking about 7-keto DHEA, not prohomones.
