blackwing reliability?

Any one experienced with Blackwing.com (w/safe)? I'm thinking of buying 10lb of chicken from them.

Thanks!

Re: blackwing reliability?

I've purchased from them in the past with no problems (I purchase chicken from my local Amish farmer now).

Excellent! I'm asuming it comes in a container with dry ice. How's the quality?

Frank, you can't find Range Fed, Hormone Free Chickens/Meat in your area?
Have you Googled, Organic meats, Community Supported Agriculture??

I'm in Western Pa(not always a blessing), but I have Amish, Non Amish all growing and selling Organic Produce (CSA) and great Meats, Milk and Eggs. I stopped buying any of these products from Grocery Stores, except Trader Joes.
BTW, I don't drink Milk, just included that as I can even find raw milk, though I have to look a little harder. So great meat/veggies local raised, along with some fruit when in season. Since I lean toward Paleo instead of Zone, that's all I eat, except for some Almonds/Walnuts, then we're talking Sam's club.

Hope this helps.

Jay

Re: blackwing reliability?

I've purchased from Blackwing and they're fine. But they're not grass-fed. Look to Slanker's or Tallgrass if you want to purchase grass-fed meats online.
