Re: Where's the Girl Power?

Front squat PR the other night at 60kg. That's around 5 lb over body weight. Yay!

Re: Where's the Girl Power?

I am pretty sure there isn't a muscle in my body that isn't sore. Last night's workout was finding our 1RM on the Power Clean (which I did 61 pounds... felt very good about that), and then 40yd sprint, 1 Power Clean, 5 Kettleball swings on the minute for 12 minutes. I thought I was going to die...

Great job! And yes, I'm sure we've all had workouts that we felt like we were gonna die . . .

Re: Where's the Girl Power?

Did Fran today.. not a fan lol. Met her in fundamentals two weeks ago. Two weeks ago I completed it in 16 and change. However, I was doing wall balls instead of thrusters, and jumping pull ups. Today it took me 23 minutes, but you know what? I did thrusters! And I made it through the 21,15,9! I may have been the last one done, but I made an accomplishment!

Re: Where's the Girl Power?

‎400m of burpee-broad jumps in 28 mins 50 secs - oh yeah! Did full pushups for each burpee and my knees only touched the ground once and that was when I slipped

Much better than the last time we did it in January, It took me over 40 mins and I feel like I dragged myself around the field and had the grass rash for a week to prove it.

Hope everyone is having an awesome day...

Nora, my 56 year old mother comes last every workout but she always finishes. I am so in awe of her every time we work out...

Re: Where's the Girl Power?

Hi all!

I've been really happy lately as it seems like a lot of things are coming together for me. My back squats, front squats and overhead squats are improving in form and weight abilities. And then I just love my deadlifts as always Today, we did 30-20-10 of pullups and ring dips. I did pullups with my bands which still amazes me since when I started, I couldn't do the bands.
