Aurora WoD

Hello my fellow Crossfitter's:

By now I am sure you are all aware of the events that took place in Aurora, Colorado. This is certainly a time for us to remember how precious our time is here on earth. Our community is about comradery and a since of coming together to support each other through difficult times, or in our case difficult WoDs or ladies. This community is a feeling of respect for one another and for those are have fallen. Just as Ghawi's brother stated we should remember the fallen.

Well here is my new WoD. I say we all get together and create Aurora, and every year on July 20 this will be the WoD. It is our way of showing respect for those who have fallen to someone who would commit this cowardly act. There were 12 killed and 58 others injured. So I say we make it a 12 exercise WoD, 1 for each fallen person, that totals 70 reps. My reason for posting this is to gather ideas of what should be included in this WoD, since we are a community everyone should get a say in how this WoD is conducted. After several posts have been made we can gather to see what the top 12 suggestions are for exercises and then portion out the number of reps for each lift. I hope all of my fellow CFs join me in creating a WoD that shows respect for the fallen on July 20, 2012.

Blake

Re: Aurora WoD

It appears the previous one has been deleted.

My thoughts:

11 power cleans, 225#/155#
1 rope climb, 15'
10 power cleans, 225#/155#
2 rope climbs, 15'
9 power cleans, 225#/155#
3 rope climbs, 15'
8 power cleans, 225#/155#
4 rope climbs, 15'
7 power cleans, 225#/155#
5 rope climbs, 15'
6 power cleans, 225#/155#
6 rope climbs, 15'

Pretty brutal, but then again so is one guy killing 12 people and injuring 70 total.

Nope, it's here (wfs). I'm probably gonna take a shot at my suggestion (see thread) on Thursday.
