How am I going to make 2017 the best ever?

Coaching- Found a coach that makes me work on my weaknesses. Accessory work. Identifying my weak muscles that I did not know about or left out of my training. Working on weakness makes the rest of the sport better.

Going all out- Need to find that extra effort at the end of the workout that will propel me past the competition. Rich F has that where he paces the event out and in the end pushes just that extra effort to close the show.

Mobility- yes the program is way better. Two years ago no mobility.. now its the major focus.

Scoreboard checking, competition comparing, worries who can beat me or vice versa. If you put out 100% effort, with a good strategy that suits your strengths you really don't have to worry. You did your best keep on training.

Fun- I love to keep the hips warm and dance around. Plenty of Yea Buddies in the gym. I don't take that sense of fun to the games. Get too serious and miss out on part of the journey. Maybe **** off a person, or heckle them in good fun during the workout. Shake Bill G's hand and say no hard feelings after this one Bill.. stuff like that. Not be a jerk or weird but just have some fun.

Love and relationships- go for them, don't hold back. Every obstacle is a potential growth opportunity. No fence walking, just jump into the deep end and swim your little heart out.

Trust your plan and stick to it.

Have a great holiday's everyone.

Peace and love,
Vic

Vic, you know you are going to need to trash talk Scott at the games

The good thing is he will give it back.

Re: How am I going to make 2017 the best ever?

I'm interested in these new mystery muscles Vic forgot to train before

When you say fun, it's about being able to have a laugh and a banter with everyone and then turn that switch and be ready for the 3-2-1 go. I found as soon as I start walking towards the events I get very quiet, generally means either I am nervous or I want to make a last run over the coming workout in my head. Being serious and quiet the rest of the time would be exhausting.
