So I've been doing the zone for over 2 months now and I feel AMAZING!! I am lean, strong, flexible, more so then I have ever been before. I dropped a lot of weight and still managed to maintain my strength. Overall, I am very happy.

However, looking over the changes I have made on my eating plan I feel I can still make some improvements. My biggest problem being that i'm starting to feel hungry between meals. From breakfast to lunch i'm fine, and i'm "somewhat" okay from lunch through training. Come "snack (post shake)" time, an hour later I am starving...Dinner time I feel I can eat a wholeeee lot more! Then my last snack, I too can feel I can eat more.

Please look over my diet, critique please, and help me modify it accordingly; http://www.frankmenendez.com/crossfit/diet.pdf

A few questions
1. Should I remove all that excess fat from lunch and add some fat to my post workout snack?
2. Is a banana and a couple of yogurts a good alternative to that shake?
3. Will eating more carbs at my last snack be an issue with fat gain? (even though that meal is lacking carbs + I've gotten used to my level of leanness, and i would hate to gain fat - so any modifications would solely be for the purpose of LMM, which i'd love!)

thanks!

Frank,
I saw your post regarding your stuffed sinus(es).

As I've suggested before, for your stuffiness and your hunger, get rid of all grains, dairy (whey), and sugar (maltodextrin, a "complex" sugar, nothing more).

If you start spending as much effort on correcting these issues in your diet as you do in creating PDFs for others to look at, you will make the progress you so desire.

I am willing to do that Garrett, but I am unsure what I can replace these items with?

The oatmeal for example, the whey protein during breakfast...

the post shake I can do a banana and yogurt but yogurt is whey :/

Dinner is fine and so is my last snack, lunch I would need replace that tortilla

Frank,
Replace them with things from this short list:
Meat (including fish and poultry), veggies, fruit, nuts, seeds.
