Any fellow sushi lovers here?

I was wondering if anyone had any insight to this "problem"? Does anyone know on average how many blocks would a normal size california roll be? just a rough average....also does anyone have any selection ideas to stay in the zone at the sushi restaurant? ANY input is highly appreciated! Thanks!

I am partial to the fatty underbelly of the bluefin tuna. Make sure someone else is buying :-)

Stay away from the rice. Not a favorable carb.

Sashimi is the way to go. I am guessing a piece or 2 is one or 2 blocks of protein.

It is like sushi without the rice and vinegar.

Exactly. Just the Raw fish.

I normally get edamame also. Soy beans. Might not be favorable but not so bad.

Ummm...edamame? Miso soup? Some places have these weird salads with seaweed. And I just thought of caterpillar rolls--those have cucumbers and eel and avocado...no rice. Course if it was me, I would just eat sashimi and then get a nice glass of plum wine...
