I didn't know where I should post this question, so I'm guessing this is the best place

I want to compete in a race July 4th. I have the option of either running the 2 mile, or the 5 mile race with hills. 2 weeks after that is my grappling tournament. My question: How do you cross train for one sport that is all endurance, then train for another sport that requires both endurance and strength. I know to do crossfit routines, but are there ones would benefit me more than others?

a 5mile race with hills is like a 10k (6.2mi)run and that has been a WOD in the past.

another way of looking at it is just continue to do the WODS along with your usual grappling routine.

Add some hill sprints to your workouts.
