Mark,

Outstanding news! It'd be great to have you down here! I owe you a workout from the last time you were down here anyway!

Don't forget you can bring the magic into your own home and send in the results!

Cheers,

Pete

Beer first, then food, then more beer.

Hey Guys - don't forget that this Sunday is also the interview with Mike Burgener on Crossfit Live. It is at 7 pm California time. I think that is minus 8 hours from Greenwich Mean Time so if your up long enough partying - call in to say hi!

Graham H- I think I was a bit over the top with a 3 round helen race, I never realised how much all three of the workouts adds up to.

:uhoh:

Beth,

Thanks for the reminder, i hopefully will make it for that one, just so you can all laugh at my accent! However i am on an early shift the next day so i will have to see how i feel after the day's pain storming session!

Davie,

It's all good buddy, we can have a consensus vote on the day based on how everyone's feeling and exactly what this wonderful changeable weather of ours decides to do??

BTW.....bbq and beer is happening regardless, lets get the community spirits (whiskey?) flowing!

Re: Helen race - I think we should just go in twos for a round each and then maybe have a "final" where the two best competitors square off against each other - sort of like a punishment for being the best! I also like this plan cos I'm almost certain it won't be me that does it twice! Or - we have the best THREE competitors in the final, with the best qualifier using the 24KG bell and the others using the 16Kgs - for a bit of a handicap!

I see the military SOS and the SSS test as the major constituents of the "storming", the Helen race is more like an hors d'oevre (I think that's the right spelling! :uhoh:) to whet our appetites for the main event! (ie the BBQ!)
