Here’s the May CF Military Competition. It was designed by Gunny Burke, but if you have any questions you can send them my way. Also, looking for a name for this monthly event, it will no longer be called “SOS”. “SOS” is run by the great folks at CF North and has nothing to do with this competition. This event is run to introduce military folks to CF and give military folks a chance to have a friendly competition with their comrade’s in arms. The participants should post their results to this thread NLT 27 May. Good luck and Thanks Gunny B. for a great workout.

The idea is for it to be a fire team competition. For those

umm...ouch. I'm not military by any stretch...but I have bored friends and can hop the fence to a football field...

I'm going to do this with my guys, unfortunately this month is a skull drag so it won't happen until June 1st. I'll post times and hopefully some pics/vids too.

Name suggestions:

1) Monthly Military Gut Check
2) Monthly Blood Drive (i.e. the more you sweat in peace the less you bleed in war)
3) IDSUFTS (I Didn't Sign Up For This Sh&*)
4) DTLIDAOOHCW (Damn, the Lt is doing another one of his crazy workouts)

Just be sure to give credit where credit is due this workout was designed by Gunny Burke. His suggestion for a name for this monthly workout is The Hoplite Hurt Locker. Gunny B is pretty special when it comes to spreading the love.

Capt Perry is such a flatterer. I do enjoy a certain reputation in the battalion though. And my Marines want to name EVERY workout. "What's this one called Gunny? *pant pant*"

Team of 6 so subbed "airborne push ups" for box push ups (one long line,
first guy moves to back after each 5)

Ducimus! Sorry that I missed the workout, no takers here in Kingston--staff college is sooooooooo! much more important. I did my estimate and concluded that Gunny Burke's workout would suck, and it seems that I was right. See you in July.
