Just received my adjustable squat stands from Promaxima. Well made and a great price for $135.00(+ shipping). Order came quick, choice of black/white and were great to deal with.

Thomas- I've been thinking about that pair as well, especially for space considerations. Have you tried them out yet? I'm curious what you think about their stability, particularly with exercises like max squats.

Travis- I know I got quoted $50 shipping from Houston to College Station, TX. I may just pick them up at the warehouse the next time I'm in Houston.

Chris - Used them for the first time this am for front squats. They seem stable with a genorous footprint, but it also makes foot space tight. I thought I could have also used them to bench but they are out of reach. Haven't done back squats yet.

Travis- thanks for the input. You mentioned that you can't bench with them. What's the lowest they lower?

Re: Squat Stands
They are definitely out of reach for bench press. If no one posts the lowest height by morning I will measure them at the gym tomorrow.
I really like these stands. I wrote a review of them when I got them in January: (wfs) http://www.board.crossfit.com/showth...a+squat+stands They are holding up well to heavy use. I know that they go low enough for our 5'2" client and high enough for our 6'5" client. By the way, one of my neighbors just bought a set and shipping to San Diego is now $80. Ahmik |

Re: Squat Stands
Unless you have a very high bench, you won't be doing bench press with the Promaxima Squat Stands. The lowest height is 47". I have had these stands for a couple of months now and I am very happy with them. They are easy to move around my garage gym as necessary, and they are very solid.
