On a good night I get 7 hours, most nights I get 5 or 6. I try to take 20 minute naps at lunch time.

Working two jobs (and 6 days a week) does not lend well to sleep.

I need to quit this whole "work" thing. It keeps getting in the way of my life.

The only thing work is good for is that it helps me to pay for my gym memberships, ha, ha.

My goal in life is to do without an alarm clock.

I normally get 7 to 8 hours during the week and sometimes up to 9 on the weekends.

I do much better when I don't turn on the boob tube or post to crossfit at midnight.

You might find this interesting:

Kinda pop, but hey.

His other essays are generally well written and interesting as well, if you like that sort of thing.

Best,

Do what you love. I adore that concept.

I do love to sleep. Maybe the Sealy or Tempurpedic people will pay me to travel the country and sleep on thier beds!

Any leads?

I can't get to sleep until around 11-1 at night, no matter how tired i am, i just can't doze off until late. Last night i went to bed at around 10:30, i woke up at 2am so awake i didn't know what to do with myself for about an hour.

I will generally find i get around 6-7hrs of sleep during the week, some nights only a couple of hours, it only sucks when that couple of hours is over a 3 day period.

Agreed with the 'do what you love' statement. The only limits you have in life are the ones you place upon yourself, so many people will say 'i can't do this because..' or 'i will ONE DAY..' or 'i don't have the time'. So the things they want to do in life are impediately put into the 'not important pile' and other things less important are put into place because they are easier to accomplish. I don't think like that, i want to do so many things in life that i never say 'i can't' or think negatively about doing the things i want to do, its always 'im going to do this and this and this before the end of the year',i put a month on it, then i'll get it done.

Nikki, you should read "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People." You'd like it I think... you're most likely a "Quadrant 2" planner. And yes, I am a dork. Ha!

Sleep's over rated.

To quote the bad guy in Die Another Day, " I can sleep when I'm dead."
