Grip for pullup & Muscle up.
What is the correct grip for a pull-up wrt the thumb? I mean I am able to crank more pull-ups when the thumb is "over the bar". Also when I go for around the bar grip, the inner side of my thumb hurts!
Any recomendations? Thanks in advance, ~Rk |

Re: Grip for pullup & Muscle up.
I like my members to wrap the thumb for less of a chance of falling. Bar Muscle up I wrap my thumbs so I can twist my hands as I kip over.
Pull ups I do not wrap thumbs over, more because that is how I learned it 10 years ago by myself figuring things out. For pull ups, as long as grip is not an issue, then it is about for comfort. |
