Today went over for the Saturday workout at CF Knoxville

group warm up

WOD (with a partner)

push ball (wall ball but with a dip and shoot instead of a full squat)
pull up
box jump
sit up
push up
row

At each station do 30 seconds of work/ 30 seconds rest alternating with partner, then move on to the next station. We did 3 rounds with a one minute rest between each round.

After-stretching and hip mobility

No lunges for me today! I'm following the programming at our affiliate now and have to be careful to plan something that doesen't interfere with the programming coming up. This week is going to be barbell heavy. Can't wait! Tomorrow night is a metcon with snatches and push ups. Should be fun

WOD 20:00 AMRAP

10 hang power snatches 45#
10 pushups

10 rounds + 2 snatches

This was hard due to my left thumb. Really painful to hold the hook grip so I could only do 5 and then set the bar down. This thumb has been sore for a couple of weeks since the last snatch WOD. Still, glad to be able to do snatches!! 102 to be exact My shoulder is really doing great.

Yeah I've learned to avoid the workouts that I have to plan the rest of the week around. That also goes for those that have 150 GHD sit ups! Ug.

200 m run

2 rounds:

10 kb swings
10 cherry pickers
10 leg swings each leg

Workout A:

Dumbbell Split Squats: Done with back leg up on a 12" box. Used 25# DB

7 split squats each leg w 30 second rest between legs
10 good mornings w dumbbell

3 rounds with a one minute rest between each round

These were hard and awkward to do!

Workout B:

30 Double unders
15 tuck jumps

3 rounds
