Official TypePad Users Thread
Well, BlogSpot has one... and now that I'm using TypePad I felt that there should be one setup for this one as well. What I'd like to see is the affiliates who are using TypePad to check in so that we can share trials, tribulations and successes using the application.
Here are my new TypePad blogs that I am struggling with: (WFS Links) CrossFit Koncepts - http://www.crossfitkoncepts.com Kettlebells Maryland - http://www.kettlebellsmaryland.com Kettlebell Koncepts - http://www.kettlebellkoncepts.com Thanks! |

Thanks Randy - I hope it will!
I've already got a question as to how I can add the crossfit journal image and link to my weblog! I can't figure out how I can add it to the design/template. HELP!!! |

Re: Official TypePad Users Thread
Michael-
Go to any site that has the journal logo (they were available in basecamp but I don't see there here anymore) We have the blue one but they were available in black and white, too. (you can get the blue one from us at www.rainiercrossfit.com and the black with white writing from www.crossfiteastside.com) right click it and "save picture as" Save it to someplace where you can find it easily. Now in typepad, sign in, go to Control Panel, Files, Upload New File, browse, and click on the image you just saved (and can find easily, remember?) It will appear on the list of the left, click the little chain link picture to get the "link" for the image. You'll use the "link" info to add the image to a typelist (go to control panel< typelists for this, add it to a new list or an existing one, the title will look something like(including the < and >) <img src="http://www.yoursitename.com/CFJ-125x63-3_1.jpg"> The url will be: http://www.crossfit.com/journal/ and you can add whatever suits you to the "notes" box save it and then you'll need to move it to where ever you want it on your main page by using weblogs<design<select content and then order content. DOes that answer your question? Let me know if I can clarify, I'm not very good at this stuff but seem to muddle through it somehow. Laurie www.rainiercrossfit.com |

Re: Official TypePad Users Thread
Anybody using Google Checkout with Typepad? Having a bit of trouble with integration -- Typepad keeps dumping the values held by Google Checkout after the initial input. Very frustrating. Anybody else encounter this problem?

Re: Official TypePad Users Thread
Hi gang,
The page with the links and instructions to the Journal graphics is here (WFS) This link, http://www.crossfit.com/cfj-logo.html, will take you to a page where the graphic, link, and instructions for installation can be found. I've attached a doc that has step-by-step instructions for implementing it in typepad. Hope this helps, Lynne |
