Protein in Coffee

I have seen it mentioned in a few places but never tried it until today. I am drinking it now and it is the absolute best protein drink I have ever had. I just brewed the coffee. Put about 12 oz in a blended and 2 scoops of whey.

Re: Protein in Coffee

So it was warm/hot when you drank it? And was the whey vanilla or chocolate or what?

I cant imagine drinking protein anyway but ice cold. But I HAVE heard of doing this, so I guess I can't knock it till Ive tried it!

If you like coffee, and haven't tried At Large Nutrition's Nitrean coffee- OMG- it will blow your Nanos off. It is seriously THE best tasting protein Ie ever had. It's on back order right now. THAT'S how good it is!

Re: Protein in Coffee

It's not bad.

I usually add instant coffee or cold filtered coffee to my vanilla or chocolate protein drink. I'm not as big a fan of the nitrean chocolate, I can taste what I believe is the egg protein in it. blending with coffee makes it more enjoyable.

Re: Protein in Coffee

That's how I take mine every morning. I love the chocolate this way, the vanilla was pretty bad.

Re: Protein in Coffee

do this every morning. I buy the premade starbucks mocha or vanilla latte stuff, mix it with 2 scoops protein, and whole milk.

Not as good as the chocolate. I could drink it but ingesting and enjoying are different things.
