Crossfit Olympic Lifting Class

I've read nothing but good things about this class. I'm debating on attending one but was hoping to get some feedback. I'm a novice at best with oly lifts. Thanks.

Re: Crossfit Olympic Lifting Class

Being a Novice with the lifts is actually beneficial. You probably haven't delevoped too many bad habits yet. The class is definitely worth it. You can only learn so much by watching videos. I had been doing the Burgner warm up wrong for months before being show at the cert. If you have the money and opportunity to attend, you'll be glad you did.

Re: Crossfit Olympic Lifting Class

Absolutely go.

As a novice myself, I was told by the excellent coaching staff, my technique greatly improved over the two days.

I would go again if I had the opportunity.

Re: Crossfit Olympic Lifting Class

A novice would definitely benefit from good o-lifting coaching/class. How much you will benefit depends on the coach and how he teaches/coaches.

Re: Crossfit Olympic Lifting Class

It's worth every penny. I've taken one with Coach B, and the next time another class rolls into town I'll take that again too, just for a refresher.

Just be prepared - after you take the cert you're going to be itching for any chance to snatch and clean during your WODs from here on out
