Strength, Mobility and Functional Training

I just stumbled across this article and found it particularly interesting: (Link WFS)

I was wondering if anyone had any experiences with the TACFIT program or had recently completed something of a similar nature that they found beneficial. Does anyone have a training system that focuses on increased mobility that they swear by?

Re: Strength, Mobility and Functional Training

I'm doing the tacfit commando program. Nice program based on a 4x7 system. day one range of motion drills, day 2 yoga moves to pull tension from the body, day 3 moderate commando bodyweight workout and day 4 high intensity commando workout. Scott says to do one full 28 day cycle before you add in equipment training like Crossfit. he says to add your strength work on day 3's with warmup range of motion and cool down drills that are right for that exercise. He says to do strength endurance stuff that taxes your energy systems(ie wods) on day4"s. He says with the 4x7 system you peak or pr every 4 days for a major push for more every 28 days. If you get this system and do the 4x7 he says to take 5 full days off after every third 4x7 28day cycle. for the next few hours tacfit commando is 51% off here is the link this link is family and child safe
