You must not know many Marines to ask that question. lol I am ALWAYS a Marine first.

Brian Stann. He is an officer too. He dedicates all his fights to fallen comrades, seems like a good enough answer for me.

That may be the most concise and well worded case against paying college athletes I have ever read. Kudos.
