Yep, protein and fat, few carbs, good to go. Can't get easier.

Eat Food, Not Blocks.

Chow On.

I just saw this post. Good heads up Jay.

Mark's a good writer and keeps things light and informative. I suggest to anyone who will listen to put him do that RSS subscription thing to his blog.

I read Mark's blog daily. Another great one is Scott Kustes' blog, Modern Forager. Give it a shot. These guys have taught me a ton about nutrition.

Yeah, I like this stuff, but with one point of confusion: if you look closely at Mark's meals, many include Greek Yogurt and Whole Milk and Protein Powder. All of which don't seem too primal. I understand that his diet is one of moderation and reasonable cheats. Still wondering if dairy has to go...

Check out this. It's a 5-part series about milk and dairy in general. WFS.

The gist of it is that dairy is absolutely non-essential to a healthy diet. It can be consumed as kind of a gray area, though, just don't overdo it. Fermented dairy and raw dairy are your best bets.

Thanks Kyle.

It always seems to be the gray are with dairy. I ingest it, I keep muscle and build, but ALWAYS get soft. I rid it from my diet, I find it hard to eat adequately and ALWAYS lose strength.

I'll read up
