Veggies

Hello everyone,

Just curious as to how you guys season your veggies. I am a little tired of pepper and olive oil. Anyone have any ideas to make them more interesting?

Thanks, Dylan

Lemon juice kicks up the flavor of most veggies.

Season salt used sparingly can add a twist.

Curry powder can wake up your palate. (steam spinach, saute onion, add teaspoon curry powder to onions and saute for a minute, add spinach, mix and serve with dollop of plain yoghurt.)

Cinnamon goes well with many veggies (try carrots with cumin and cinammon!). Cinammon has the added advantage of increasing insulin-sensitivity.

Re: Veggies

Bacon, it goes with everything, and it's just swell by its self. Is there a more perfect food, well, I guess Ice Cream falls in that category.....
