Etiquette?

Hereís a few to start,

Always open the door for a lady.

Stand on right side of the escalator, walk on the left. Do not be the one #$@^ who stands on the left.

Do not do any exercise except for squats in the squat rack. Unless the rack has a pullup bar and you are in fact doing pullups.

When using a lighter always light the ladies cigarette or cigar first. If using matches, light your own first.

When eating sushi, select your pieces using the rear end of the sticks. Never touch anything that isnít on your own plate with the ends you eat with.

Don't chew with your mouth open.

Re: Etiquette?

Please and thank you are not optional and should be automatic.

A fork is never to be scraped against the teeth (personal pet peeve).

Re: Etiquette?

Please remember to use your turn signal 100' before you turn or change lanes. Don't forget to turn it off...except in Florida, where there is a 10 mile rule

While driving, keep right except to pass. Passing on the right is dangerous.

While making a call, identify yourself to the person who answers, ie; "Hello, this is Mike, may I speak with Yo' Mamma".

Smokers, don't toss butts out the car window. It is littering!, and is the cause of many a brush fire...

Smokers, please don't leave your butts in the sand at the beach, it's nasty...

Re: Etiquette?

Stand when a lady leaves the table,

Stand when greeting an elder

Re: Etiquette?

If you're walking into/out of a doorway and someone is right behind you, hand them the door and if it's a lady or an elder open it for them.

Get off your cell phone.

Re: Etiquette?

Bring a towel to the gym and wipe your sweat off equipment.

When the metro/subway/bus arrives let the people off (stand to the side)before trying to sqeeze yourself in.

Anyone know any of that old classic stuff that no longer exists in the modern age? The stuff that ladies and gentlemen are made of?

Gentlemen take their hats off indoors, especially when sitting in a restaurant eating.

That one is sorta enforced where I work.

Don't hold a conversation in the middle of a hallway or infront of a door.

Don't pull up to someone's house and honk for them.

That's a good one. It really ticks me off when people do that.
