Something Good About Mickey-Dee's

I know, shocking, right? But when you are hungry enough to kill someone and it's your only choice, you get some Chicken McNuggets. And yea, they are fried in vegetable oil, and yea, they have 100mg of salt per nugget, if you do the math- meaning a twenty-piece has TWO GRAMS of salt, which will make you thirstier than , but I noticed something good about them.

Their carbohydrate/protein ratio is near perfect!

More fat for strict zone, but still, not bad for desperate measures.

Except Mickey has an even better option: get one of the salads with chicken on it. Yes, the chicken is breaded and fried, but if you leave the dressing off it's still as close to Paleo as you're likely to get.

I'll stick with the fruit and walnut salad, methinks.

Re: Something Good About Mickey-Dee's

I'm on SS so once a week I'll treat myself to three double cheeseburgers and a pint of milk for lunch

I am very tempted to try a "McG*ngB*ng" (A McChicken Sandwich inside a Double Cheeseburger)

And therein lies the problem with The Zone. Eating Chicken Nuggets is a better option than not eating....riiiiiight.

Re: Something Good About Mickey-Dee's

This post makes me think of this saying I read somewhere online:

Quote:
Going to McDonald's for a salad is like going to a crackhouse for vitamins.
Okay, two quotes:

Quote:
Going to McDonald's for a salad is like going to a brothel for a hug.
