Re: Title Boxing Platinum Pro Timer

Pat - I read a book with a series of reprinted instructions, actual instructions, for a variety of things you were to put together all from Japanese translations. My Mom is Japanese and I could hear her talking to me with those instructions and I became hypoxic with laughter reading it. Though I find that sort of thing hysterical, I can somehow decipher the meaning without too much doubt thanks to learning to understand my mother. Let me know if you continue to struggle and I'll try and find my instructions and translate it into white guy if you want me to. Or better yet, I'll get my Mom to read it to you over the phone and your job is to keep a straight face.

Re: Title Boxing Platinum Pro Timer

Just received my timer today. I halfway understand everything, but I pressed some sort of combination of buttons that makes my display show 0 on the left and :30 on the right. No combination of buttons makes this go away.

Is there a way to reset the timer?

You can't really "clear it". It will display whatever you either input in or the last time you had on it. When you enter the next timer and then hit start, it resets.

In fact, even if you turn it off, when you come back and turn it on, the display is still what ever was left on it. David.

Re: Title Boxing Platinum Pro Timer

I've got one of these and am happy overall, but I'm having trouble with one feature, maybe someone can tell me if I'm doing something wrong:

In a workout like Cindy, I'd like it to count from 20:00 to 0:00 then beep and stop counting. If you set it up as 20,0,0,0(xA,xP,xC,xF) it beeps at 0:00, but then it repeats and starts counting off from 20:00 again. Same happens in the count up mode (I'd like it to beep and stop after XX minutes). Now if you set the timer with one cycle: 20,0,1,0 (xA,xP,xC,xF) - it will stop at the 20:00 but will not beep.

The instructions for "single action" state it should count down/up then stop at the time perscribed and beep. Is my unit defective, am I doing something wrong, or is there a reset?

Not a big deal if it repeats, but I'd prefer it just stop.

Anyone experience this?

When not in use as a timer, can this display regular time (clock)?
