Re: Paleo food at Crossfit Games??

Were there not last year?

Man if most sporting events charge 4 bucks for a crappy hot dog I can't imagine what quality food would be.

There was a Cinnabom stand last year. I was the only customer.

Re: Paleo food at Crossfit Games??

Is there a "tailgate" type section (outside main stadium) where you could set up a killer BBQ stand and sell 1/2 rotisserie chickens and maybe have a couple hundred pounds of brisket, ribs, lots of fresh coleslaw, salad, fruit, etc.?

If not, or if such an organized stand would be against the venue's regulations, perhaps the organizers could contract with a halfway decent BBQ joint that could be a legit vendor.

Seems like that would be the easy way to go.

Re: Paleo food at Crossfit Games??

Lisbeth has sad that many comments about the onsite catering were received and had been noted.

Technically you weren't supposed to be able to enter and leave the Home Depot Centre multiple times, HDC rule. I assume that's aimed more at regular sports events which run for a few hours at most.

I have a suspicion that there will be limited room to move, that the HDC will want to protect the interests of the people who are paying them for the concessions. I'd plan to stock up before going through the gates.
