I used crowdspring.com to outsource the design. You set the price you are willing to pay and people submit their designs. It's fantastic and no joke, someone walked into my box last night and mentioned how much they loved my logo. Good luck.

I'm not a fan of big, "busy" sites but I really like this site. Whoever designed it did a magnificent job.

Here's another Alabama CrossFit logo we drafted up. We broke it down and kept it stupid simple.

Good and simple! So you guys didn't go non-profit route with HQ? Was it challenging to get a local gym to allow you to run your classes?

I can't say if it is among the best, but we are very proud of our logo. The goal we set was to stay simple. The less cluttered and complicated logos are easy to recognize, and make it a lot easier for reproduction.

Drafted this up in Microsoft Paint. Intending on using it for business cards, t-shirts, and sticker decals. Too simple? What do you guys think?

I like the KB design, but how about filling it entirely in black? Maybe arcing the "A" a bit to make it to apear to be painted on. the KB.

another idea would be to add "CF" below/ to the right of the "A" for a simplified logo- for stickers, mugs/ bottles, etc.
