I don't know if the coaches there are good or bad.
I do know they came on here with a rather brash tone telling teh CF world how to get it done, and received the type of response expected when a new person comes to the table and tells everyone there that they know how to do it better than the rest.

I just went through the above-linked thread. Ouch.

From what I can tell there seem to be two types of CrossFit. CROSSFIT gyms, and CrossFit GYMS.

The former is more true to the original idea, more like a sports club, the latter just a GloboGym type facility with CrossFit equipment. I'm interested in the former myself, and don't think the latter is or ever will be a threat to it, I think they're two completely different things and will appeal to two completely different types of people. To each there own...
