So what if your feeling like more??

I was just wondering if on some days you feel like doing more, if there is any WOD's you could feel in or some improvement workouts reccomended. Thanks for any help.

Re: So what if your feeling like more??

What are your numbers like on the WODs? Are you hitting them as RxD?

Many will say if you feel like doing more you didn't go hard enough the first time. That being said, everyone can use skill work. DU's, HSPU's, MU's and even PVC oly work.

Just don't forget, rest and recovery are every bit as important as the workout.

Re: So what if your feeling like more??

First, make sure you are going heavy, hard and fast enough.

If it's a rest day and you want to do something, I'd recommend skill work. Nothing intense, just focus on technique. Work on weak points.

Or go out and play.. Take the dog for a run, chase your kids around, toss a frisbee etc

I'd rather be fresh and excited for the start of a next cycle than worn down. Rest is key. Sometimes it's hard to take it down a level, especially when you are new to CF.

Check out my blog www.evolveyourfitness.blogspot.com (W/F safe,) particularly the post "Advancing The Intermediate CrossFitter
Part 1." That post offers some good suggestions for pre/post WOD skill work.

Good luck!
