The Beowulf Workout

Like Eugene, I like to give my Team an Epic once a month.
I rented Beowulf a few days ago and instantly had a workout.

My CrossFit Old Town Team Loved it!

I then got carried away and turned it into a special report to send out to local prospects.

I'll link the pdf.

w/f/s "The Beowulf Workout"

Enjoy!

Re: The Beowulf Workout

One note on the PDF. The original listing of the workout says: 50 ring dips, 75 pull-ups, and 150 jumping slam balls. It then says 10 rounds of 5 ring dips, 10 pull-ups, and 15 jumping slam balls. Did you mean for it to be 75 pull-ups or 100 pull-ups?

Re: The Beowulf Workout

Thanks for the edit!

I need a proof reader!

I fixed it at 100 pullups and added some rankings:

Rankings:

35 minutes or less; Capable of defeating Grendel and the Dragon!

36-40 minutes; Capable of defeating Grendel and you stand a chance with the Dragon.

41-45 minutes; you stand a chance with Grendel.

46+ minutes; Keep training, Grendel will tear you limb to limb.

Re: The Beowulf Workout

Jerry - great workout and it's already up on the board in the Epic section. I look forward to seeing how we stack up against your time rankings. Wonderful name, I like workouts with a theme like that.

Re: The Beowulf Workout

I wish I had the equipment to try it, I love crazy workouts like these!

I want to see how it compared to doing the 300 workout. That one left me sick for a few hours but took like a third of the time that this one would.

I love it. Bookmarked. I was thinking that when I watched the movie (saw it in 3d!)... My wife must have wanted to smack me the whole time when I was saying "ooo, that's crossfit".

You really think they all stay locked up in the log?

I'll keep my mouth shut about it. Can't wait to see the looks when people see this on the board.

Re: The Beowulf Workout

I like B2B Tabata squats. Equal factor, but less

Still, could be fun in a "doesn't have to be fun to be fun" kind of way.
