Come to think of it Ian you're right, I did forget that one hmm... Maybe a one armed HSPU or how about a one armed clean and jerk with BW?

Anyway I got 45 ring dips this morning, am closing in on this one fast.

I am just so jazzed that I can do MU's now, next have to get so I can get both elbow over the bar at the same time. No one has said anything yet but I get some weird looks when I do these.

Craig

I do the one elbow at a time as well on the rings. It usually happens once I am getting more tired but I am sure it is hilarious to watch.

Good work on the ring dips. I might have to try and match you at some point this week... are we aiming for fifty?

I'm in. I'll be posting my pullups, ring dips, and muscle ups here over the next few days.

I thought I would be way down the list but everyone must be sleeping in today. I got my 50 last evening. Did anyone else do this?

Well, no A-list performance but in the spirit of the pull-up B-challenge I tried to see how many sets it would take to get to 50. Got a PR 12, 8, then 3 sets of 5, 3 fours and a three. All done in about 9 minutes. Not bad when 6 weeks ago I could barely get sets of 2 and after 10 reps I was done. Going to try and get 10 sets of 5 a day for the next couple of weeks then retest.

Nice effort Craig, that is awesome.

Cheers, kempie

Well I didn't quite focus on this one, but I did step my weighted dip numbers up by a lot and worked up to 5 X 5 with 45 lbs. I have learned that heavy sets of 5 with weighted dips and pullups do translate very well into high reps of the bodyweight version for me. Perhaps that's because I'm much better at things involving muscular endurance than pure strength, so focusing on the weighted versions improves my weak point.
