Re: Hybrid Program Heavy Metcons

Keeping an eye on this thread for sure. This should be a sticky to Wichita beast's Log, IMO!

Re: Hybrid Program Heavy Metcons

10-8-6-4-2 of 225lbs back squat+10x30 inch box jump+10xK2E+10ring dip
first round looks: 10 back squat+10 box jump+10 k2e+10 ring dip
second round:8 back squat+10 box jump+10 k2e+10 ring dip

Haven't tested this one out yet, but I like it in theory. I love going from a heavy squatting movement to box jumps.

5 rounds of:

15 row cals
15 burpees

not heavy, but if you really go all out on the rows, should be brutal

Re: Hybrid Program Heavy Metcons

Here's one that I had the pleasure of doing this weekend. It's a variation on one of the CF Games Workouts:

"Freddy's Revenge" (there should be a video coming soon on the main site as to why the title is what it is...)

5 Rounds:

-5 Overhead anyhow @ 185lbs (from rack you can press, P. Press, Jerk....doesn't matter as long as it starts at the rack and ends overhead)
-10 Burpees

Time was 5:50ish.

Re: Hybrid Program Heavy Metcons

That is impressive. Cant wait to get to that level. I may be able to do that WOD but take at least double that time.
Nice work bro

Re: Hybrid Program Heavy Metcons

I did a variation of one david posted here ages ago.

3 rounds

60M run
120kg deadlift 10 reps
burpees 10 reps
pushups 10 reps
60M run

So between rounds 1 and 2 and 2 and 3 you running 60m twice in a row.

That was hard, after run then demanding full dowy work like deadlift and burpees, i actually found pushups kinda hard.

Did it in 6.23.
