Oh, man, it pains me to do this, but I'm deleting the content of this post.

For latecomers, Martha is offering for sale a cookbook.

It may be a fine product, but this is still a "commercial" post, and, indeed, as a first post pretty much violates our AUP.

Martha, if you and your family are truly a "CrossFit family", you know you'll be welcome here. Introduce yourselves, hang around, make some posts that add your unique contribution (yes, the vegetarian angle will probably get you some good-natured grief, but persevere!)

After you're actually a "member" of the community, your offer of a cookbook for sale won't seem like a commercial hit-and-run.

Martha;
I'm a former Veg (20 plus years)since I embraced the CF training program. Nice to see the success you've had on a meatless diet, though I've moved to GF HF Turkey, Chicken, Goat, Beef etc, I wish you well. IMHO I think the body needs meat, but your record speaks for itself.
Gutsy post BTW.

That site is w/f safe. :yeahthat:

Seems to just market your cookbook with vegetarianism as the hook. Also, it conflicts with every Paleo argument out there. So plan on resistance.

Read all four articles there, if you ever visit back here again. This seems like a single-post account for advertisement's sake.

Sheep are not only herbavores but they are also ruminants. You can't compare human digestive tracts to sheep to determine whether humans can survive on a herbavore diet. You can only make that comparison if you are arguing that humans can't survive on a ruminant diet.
