First Post 6 months into crossfit
First post: My name is John, I am 5’10” 185# and 25 years old. I started Crossfit in October 2013. My strength goals are Clean and Jerk 1rm @ 290#, Snatch 1rm @ 230#, Deadlift 1rm @ 465#, Back Squat 1rm @ 400#, and Kipping pull-ups 55 times unbroken. My current maxes are Clean and Jerk 1rm @ 185#, Snatch 1rm @ 155#, Deadlift 1rm @ 345#, Back Squat 1rm @ 335#, and 15 unbroken Kipping Pull-ups.
Nutrition: I eat low carb high protein quality foods with normal portions. My vice is I like to drink/brew beer!
Programming: I follow my Box’s WOD and I also follow Wendler 531. My normal strength week goes as follows Monday: WOD + Back Squat/Power Clean, Tuesday: WOD + Deadlift/Military Press, Wednesday: WOD + Snatch, Thursday: WOD + Clean and Jerk/Bench, Friday: WOD Saturday and Sunday are rest/Active Rest/Stretching.
I would also like to have six pack abs like a lot of people. I have a couple starting to show. I am also signed up for the Open 2014, The Steel Fit Championship Qualifier, and the Festivus Games.
That is me in a nut shell. Thanks to everyone on the forum for all the little bits of information I have picked up over the past 6 months.
