Kicking the habit

In an attempt to change up my diet after seeing what some Crossfiters are eating here, I broke my morning ritual of oats today for the first time in about 8-9 months. In all honesty, I want to see what eating a somewhat zone'ish/palumbo diet will do for me and if eating foods regarded as "anti-inflamitory" really work. My first obeservation, it feels wierd as hell!

Instead of the usual grub, I had 3 gold Kiwi's, an omlette made with a cup of egg whites, 1/2 cup of milk and 1.5 tbsp of almond butter. I already like the feeling of not having cement in my stomach The one thing I will not drop is my black coffee in the morning. I would turn into a crazed lunatic.

Thats good. Your next step is cutting out the milk.

By the way, did you mean Paleo (instead of Palumbo)?

I'm with you on the coffee.

Why the egg whites though? The whole egg is a blessing, not a curse.

Re: Kicking the habit

I used egg white because thats all I have in the Fridge right now. And to be honest with your, I really like adding Almond butter to my Omlettes for some reason, and using the whites lets me fit more of it into my fat macros/blocks
