Intensity and Scalability

I am by no means a "Firebreather" or contender for the CF Games any time soon. I continue to bust my *** in the gym and I make progress. My biggest concern is that some of the tougher WODs (Murph) are taking me too long.

I always try to scale a WOD to the point that I can finish it in the time that some of the noted Firebreathers are finishing the entire WOD.

My Murph would be 1/2 miles and 1/2 reps. Maybe full reps but you get the picture.

Can anyone shine any light on this? Do I have the right idea? Are there any Journal entries on this?

Zach

Re: Intensity and Scalability

You've got the right idea with scaling. Have you visited the BrandX site?
(Go to front page. Click Start Here. Click BrandX Scaled Workouts.)
