I will go RX as far as i can but i Know i will end up going scaled at least one week due to HSPU, MU,s possibly bar MU's but i am hoping to hit my first in the coming few weeks.

Goal
Top 200 Masters 45-49 Europe (placed 255)
Top 2500 Masters 45-49 World (placed 3152)

Overall - no goal as this is not as important but better than last year
Looking back on my goal for this year in The Open i was a little off. I was on track until the final week where i had a really bad 16.5! my right knee was playing up and i just could not push it. My previous best time for this was 20:13 and being 5min off blew my chances.

My result for this year 2016:
Masters 45-49 Europe Placed 261
Masters 45-49 World Placed 2604

Dissapointed about my place in Europe but worldwide in improved by allot.

Next year - things to do 1: work on lungs 2: work on thrusters as i hate them 3: HSPU

Re: Crossfit Open 2016

Constant improvement over a good period of time might be the key for Noah.. Beating everyone by that amount could raise some eyebrows.

Another lady popped at the USA weightlifting Charis Chan. She is a super cool lady but fighting the ban from Crossfit. I don't know all of the details.

I would think that if the tests were harder and more frequent then you would see more of what we are all thinking with PED's in Crossfit.

When a big name pops then you will see HQ trying to clean up the sport. Of the 300k doing the open you expect me to think that only two girls were using PED's.

I hope that HQ finally cleans up the sport and cares more about the athletes then pay checks. Do some olympic or cycling types of checks. They might be surprised to see the results.

A simple 2 year ban I don't think it the answer. But so far Natalie N was the most grown up and did not fight it, took blame and apologized for it. I think that is the route people should take. Just admit it.

End of rant.

Re: Crossfit Open 2016

Going to the Atlantic Regional in Atlanta again. While there were some negatives in going last year (seating), my son enjoys it enough such that it's a birthday present for him again.

Friday is the best day to go if you can get the day off. It's less crowded, things are easier to see, vendors are fully stocked, etc.

That's awesome!

I live in Colorado, and the south Regional this year is in Dallas. I hope some year they'll come back to the Douglas County Fairgrounds, which is just an hour from my house.
