I did Barbara for the first time today. Is it just me.... or does time warp in the middle of that workout, and 3 minutes becomes considerably shorter???

Re: Barbara

Unbelievable, I felt the same way... close to puking! Tough workout, glad I did it.

Re: Barbara

That is such a hard workout. I don't think it is the hardest one in the arsenal, but I think it exploits the faults in your diet more than any other. It is an extreme rarity that I do not finish a WOD (3 to date in two years-- 2 unfinished because of hangovers mixed with time constraints), and the last one I failed to finish was over a year ago when I met Barbara. My diet was a wreck around that time especially in the three meals leading up to it. I have never puked from a WOD, and I didn't on this. The feeling I had was something much more much worse. I was considering asking a stranger for a ride home, then I remembered I had my GF with me, and she had to drive (that'll make anyone sick in itself). It was awful, and I had only made it through part of round 3.

I never want to feel that way again. Barbara the other day was hard, and it did make me feel like crap for quite a few hours, but not so much at the initial time after completion. Me and Barbara can be friends again.

Re: Barbara

Just had my first encounter with Barbara, she IS a tough one.

I damn near puked mid work-out, almost did a header into the floor on my last set of squats.

I don't think Barbara is my friend, in fact I think she may want me dead.
Does running late count as exercise?
