I injured my wrist roughly 16 mo. ago helping someone move (no good deed goes unpunished). I am not sure if it was a sprain sublux. or what. initially it was really unstable, but I could BP carefully and depending on the day do pulling movements. Since then much better but no real change in last 6 mo. Some days good, some days not.

I can do everything now, but sometimes it really hurts, like when coming down from cleans on multiple rep sets. I have had times when I grabed the coffee pot to pour and the way I move caused such pain I almost dropped it. I move my wrist around and it feels much better.

My strength is good I can pull >70 kg on the PT wrist dyno, and close a captains of crush #1 and almost #2. Got these grippers thinking stronger = better (it always is) I did get stronger but wrist still hurts.

Do not want cortisone!
Don't feel anything floating loose.
I am assuming tendinosis or ligament damage (ligamentosis?)

Anyone with similar issues, experience?

I jammed my wrist on a front squat when my elbow hit my knee. Took a long, long while for it to get back to 100%. But if your wrist is still causing sharp pain, go have it looked at.

Craig:

You may want to consider getting some xrays and physical exam. They're a good start and may demonstrate abnormal spacing, etc. between the carpal bones indicative of ligamentous injury. If they want to inject just tell them to **** up a rope and figure out what they're injecting first.
