Way to go. Steve, if you got the practice tests use them, although I thought the actual test was more difficult. I also put together all the practice questions at the end of the chapters, and used that as practice as well. Hope that helps.

yup, i thought the same thing. take the practice tests but keep in mind the actual test questions will be harder. Also make sure you do your best to memorize the tables with standards for different athletes towards the end of the book... or atleast study them enough to get a gauge of different sports positions and the expectations for lifts.

also, part of the exam will be where they show you a quick clip of the exercise and you are supposed to answer a multiple choice question based on what you saw... alot of them are common sense and not that difficult, but the ones with plyometrics ARE difficult especially considering you do not have that long, so MAKE SURE you study the plyometric part of the book very well.

Maybe I'll write out some more tips later but for now I don't have much time

Re: Passed the NSCA-CSCS exam

Sweet! I intend to do the NSCA-CPS at some time in the future. I'd probably be better served knowledge-wise by Crossfit certs, but the people I might need a job from probably wouldn't care about that.

Re: Passed the NSCA-CSCS exam

Study strategically -- there are minimum amounts you need to get right in various sections. Don't bother studying for things you already will likely get the minimum in. Focus on your weaker points.

Re: Passed the NSCA-CSCS exam

No small feat. One of the hardest exams I've ever taken.

Congratulations.
