I'm curious how high, if I had good to fair technique would I have to pull for the various lifts. IE to chest, stomach etc

For the clean, the minimum critical pulling height is about up to your belly button. For the snatch, about mid-sternum.

Or, you can think of the MCPH as equal to the bar position in the bottom of your lowest front squat (for the clean) or overhead squat (for the snatch).

If you look back through the past 1 or 2 months of WODs, there have been several good videos demonstrating the pull of variations of cleans, as demonstrated by the lovely Burgeners.
