Anyone ever used a Roomba or a Bulldog WD20?

We have a relatively small space (~3000 sq ft), and are trying to find a good way to keep it clean. Our parking lot is not completely paved, and our running area is grass and dirt, so our floors are always dirty!

My questions are:

Would a Roomba do a decent job on the stall mats?

and:

Would I have to sweep first before using the WD20 machine? If so, I'm not spending that much dough.

Thanks in advance guys!

A Roomba would work great if you have flat, smooth mat surface. It's great on dust, but I don't know how well it would do long term if there were mud clumps or grass clippings.

I would also be careful about having it run during the day. If there was a group doing a WOD, or even one or two people doing skill work, it's possible a weight could be dropped on the Roomba. It would probably be best to run it overnight when no one is there.

I didn't know much about the Bulldog WD20, and the first video result I saw on Google was a guy cleaning stall mats in a CrossFit gym.

I use the Bulldog 2x a week. I only sweep if there is a big pile of chalk or shed from the ropes. Also, pick up any stones as I go, but other than that it does a great job.

The Bulldog does a great job - expensive but worth it - takes about 15 min to do what I did in an hour - and it gets the mats cleaner.
