Nano pumps?

Anyone try these out? Cant decide if over the top gimmick or really, really cool. Leaning toward former but open to latter.

Re: Nano pumps?

I haven't tried them. I have two pairs of shoes for workouts: Merrill Barefoot True Glove and Nano 2.0.

The Merrills are an older model that aren't available anymore. I love them and wear them for everything (workouts, fiddle-farting around on the weekend, lake swimming, hiking, etc.).

The Nano 2.0 have a toe box that is a little too big to be a perfect fit for me. I can imagine that a pump feature might help snug up the toe box, but I don't know. Pump shoes have always seemed gimmicky to me too. I haven't found a shoe yet that I like as much as the Merrills.

Mike,

I've been thinking along the same lines. I'm showing my age but didn't dig the Reebok pumps back in the day....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqOvv-GpRTc (WSF) The Nano version looks a lot better than the Nano 5.0. Especially, the all black!! I'd love to try them out.
I tried the 5.0s but didn't like them as much as the 2.0 and 3.0s though. The verdict is still out in my book.

Michael

Re: Nano pumps?

I have the normal 5.0, don't know how the pump would make them better (and I'm a fan of the pump).

Re: Nano pumps?

I could be wrong, but didn't the Pump almost put Reebok under in the 90's? I was wearing Nikes and Brooks back then but I remember having pair of Hexalyte running shoes that were pretty comfortable.
