Re: A little crossfit humor...

It might make a lawsuit, if you sold it. However, if you check out Cafe Press (This link leads to a page which is WFS... browse enough and you might find a shirt you don't want your kids to see) there are tons of Mac ad spoof shirts, stickers, etc.

So you might be safe in making it for sale.

Either way, if you have a high res version of that laying around, Adam (or better yet a vector graphic) I'll be making my own shirt.

Re: A little crossfit humor...

I like it, had a little time to kill so I made it in illustrator.

The zip file contains the Adobe Illustrator (.ai) file which is a vector graphic. I have also attached a comparison image.

*edit* Forgot to explain the .zip file is because of the attachment rules. You can't upload the .ai file directly. .zip is WFS

Cool graphic! This seriously combines two of my favorite things.

Re: A little crossfit humor...

Adam, thanks for the file post! I've done a lot of work for various companies in marketing and event production; among other things I've had to do is work with many clothing vendors to get promotional t-shirts made. I'll ask around about the potential problems involved in printing these.

There shouldn't be a problem, actually, as this is an obvious parody and generally parody is protected via free speech (which is how you get all the various permutations of the highly successful "got milk?" ad campaign, parodies of the Energizer Bunny ads, etc.).

The only issue I can see is that the kettlebell-apple might be a bit too close to the actual Apple logo. Then again, the "evil inside" stuff was quite close to the Intel logo, and those were printed for ages.

Of course, Adam, if it looks do-able and you're interested, I'll get with you via PM.

In any case, like I said, I'm at least making one for me, and as long as one isn't profiting by it, one can print as many for himself or his friends as he likes...

Thanks again for the file!

Cheers,
FD

Frank, print away! I'm glad you like the idea, do with it what you will so long as you send me a shirt if you get them done.

I just draw these things up for my own amusement.

Adam,

Thanks a million for an awesome design. It just became my new desktop background on my office computer.
