Re: My garage gym!!!!

The platform is 4 sheets of osb topped with one sheet mid grade plywood and finished with a 4' piece of 3/4 finish grade plywood cut by lowes and finished by me with some stain and clear finish. Not slick at all, I didnt sand it our worry about bubbles because I wanted a little texture. My feet have done the sanding. 3/4 horse mat cut in 2' sections on the ends and 2x4 to frame out at finish. The chains are insane, we pull em, drag em, swing em squats, deads, farmer carry, truly bomb proof

I can tell you that we livre near Ft. Carson Army base and that half of my weights came from soldiers being deployed. I use them with pride and purpose!

Re: My garage gym!!!!

how long is your platform?
is this a 6'x8' platform or 4'x8' platform?

if its a 4'x8' do you have any problems on the jerk with your legs extending too far back off the platform?

Re: My garage gym!!!!

David, I don't have any problems and yes it is 4x8. I am only 5'6 so that helps, but otherwise besides my kids and wife I love my platform most.
