I never post in it but has it always been locked and if so why is it even on the board?

You can still read the posts. It's there because all of the posts that HQ and the mods dislike have to go somewhere.

Just seems strange, why not just leave em where they start they are locked anyway. I was reading through a couple and just didn't see a reason for them to be locked in the first place. Then I read through the posting rules then went back to the threads and still couldn't figure it out. Oh well just curious. Carry on.

Actually David I find it's pretty loose here and they let us get away with a lot.
