Jeans for small waist, big thighs

Im not a big chap at all but since starting crossfit i have a nasty problem that my mates seem to find hilarious.

Although im only a waist 28 with short legs (European size) my thighs dont fit in any jeans that are less than those designed for a waist 32 or bigger.

Ive Tried going up one waist size but at that most jeans still dont come up over the thighs! (hollester 32" dont make it much farther than my knees!)

But I tried gap and 30" is absolutely massive, as big as a 32 or more in some other brands.

What do you guys with smaller waists do for jeans here?

30" waist in baggy fit or extra loose or relaxed fit. why do your mates think it is funny that they have small weak legs?

Buy with a bigger waist and get a good belt. Or two. And keep squatting.

I rely on belts. It's not easy for women, either.

Buy jeans that fit your butt and thighs, and take them to a tailor and get the waist taken in.

I have had some luck with the American Eagle boot cut jeans.

I have had good luck with Levis 559s or 569s. Heard that Levis modified the cut of these jeans so perhaps not as good as they once were.

Re: Jeans for small waist, big thighs

I've been looking for jeans like this for a long time. After reading this thread I ventured out and tried on a bunch. American Eagle original boot is what I went with. They are comfy and feel like they're already broken in. After washing on cold and drying on low, they shrunk but nearly imperceptibly.

I tried on 501s. The cut wasn't great IMO. I would just buy large rather than shrinking them because it seems that shrinking them to your appropriate size will just make them fit like most other too-tight jeans.
