someone broke in my apartment

The worst thing about it is I just feel violated because someone went through all my belongings. I feel fortunate because they didn't take my tv's or computers. They took my xbox 360, ipod, video games, and a couple hundered in cash/coins.... Atleast they did not take my crossfit t shirts or kettlebell!!!! they broke in through my back window cut the screen and popped the window open.. I will say they did not damage any of my stuff they didn't leave a mess at all very strange to me... what really sucks is i was coming home from work to go to gym to do the dl's and i didn't end up having a chance to go after all that....

end rant///

You can tell by the stuff taken how mature the perps were.... I live in a small town and that's about the extent of most of the thievery... Still doesn't make one feel less violated.

Hey, at least you got your kettlebells....

That's why I run Dorgem on two different computers when we're away.

As soon as it senses motion, it starts snapping photos every couple of seconds and FTP'ing them to the internet where I can check them out at work.

I mostly get pictures of cats and I'd like to keep it that way.

Spencer, that sucks man. They didn't take your kettlebells because the spineless bastards were probably too weak to carry them.

I used to work in a shady part of New Orleans. When I worked there, my brand new truck got broken into 3 times. I actually caught a guy doing it one time, and chased him until he took off in his getaway car.

I understand the feeling of violation, and it really does suck. You live in an apartment, so an alarm may not be an option. One thing I have done at my house, which helps with security, and makes my family feel safe, is I have a big @ss dog. I make sure that when I am outside, my dog is with me, so anyone driving by will see her.

Re: someone broke in my apartment

Sorry to hear about your loss. About 6 weeks ago, someone broke into my truck and stole my garmin, spare change, AND my workout back pack. I understand the electronics, but smelly shoes?

I replaced everything, and was broken into last week again! I guess they liked the shoes so much, they wanted a newer pair.

Spencer-

Dude - that sucks!

As Bob siad, it definitely sounds like it was kids (or a kid) based on what was taken and what was left behind.

Sorry about that.

That is unfortunate. Those who cheat society by stealing are probably the same ones who cheat themselves by not working out and eating healthy. Yes, I am likening obesity to thievery.
