severe cramps after work out

I've been doing CF for over a year now (starting w/ -0 atheletic back ground), have lost 30+ lbs and definitely gotten stronger and faster (still slow by CF standards though). Lately after pushing myself on met/cons, after the wod I get the equivalent of unbearable menstrual cramps, but I'm not on or close to being my period. The cramps do not feel like bowel cramps at all (sorry if TMI). All of my female parts are healthy. Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions on how to keep it from happening?

Hows your diet (specifically vitamins/mineral intake), hydration, sleep, etc.?

Re: severe cramps after work out

It's been hit and miss, mostly miss. If I get to busy at work, I forget to eat and drink enough. I'll keep track of how the two coincide and see if that could be it. Good idea, thanks!

Re: severe cramps after work out

I actually haven't experienced this. But are you hydrated? Sometimes cramping can be a result of dehydration. I'm not certain that it is related to that though and if I were you, I'd see a doctor about it.
