when doing rounds for time,is there a standard amount of rest time between sets? what does everybody use? thanks

The benefit of the "rounds for time" system, is that you pick the rest time, so that as your fitness improves, so does your time. If they gave you a set rest time, it could potentially be too long or too short for your level of fitness at that time. This system, like most of crossfit, leaves it up to your intelligent discretion.

As time much as you need to catch you breath. As you get better the goal should be to move right to the next exercise.

The right answer is none. Ever. If you're still conscious, you can go faster. Okay, so I haven't ever gone fast enough to pass out- but I've tried.

You can take as much rest as you want but the clock doesn't stop.
